Over 7,500 Ducks and Kings fans streamed into the cool Honda Center on Saturday evening to watch their teams' prospects go at it.
Kings fans came out the winners in that one, with a 6-1 final score. They held a shootout, despite the outcome, and Devante Smith-Pelly had the only goal for the Ducks.
Tonight, they go at it again. This time at Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo. While Saturday night's venture was completely free (unless you wanted to buy concessions), Monday night's rematch will cost you $5, with proceeds from the game benefitting the Los Angeles Junior Kings Hockey Club.
For those fans not interested in venturing out in rush hour traffic (the game starts at 6:00pm), the game will be streamed live on LAKings.com.
This is the final opportunity for the rookies to make a good impression on their bosses-to-be and earn an invitation to their teams' main camps, which open on Wednesday, September 11.
If nothing else, the Ducks prospects need to redeem themselves.
