Boston Beats Anaheim in Shootout

My apologies for the lack of a Boston/Anaheim recap.  My aunt Dorothy turned 90.  Sometimes family trumps even hockey.

Ducks lost in a shootout, 3-2.  Devante Smith-Pelly got his first of the year and Mathieu Perreault gave the Ducks a lead, but a late goal from Zdeno Chara tied things up and sent it to a shootout.

The Red Sox clinched the World Series the night before and the motivated Bruins did the same in a shootout, with Jarome Iginla getting the only goal.

Ducks now head to Buffalo.

About Karen Francis

Just a diehard Ducks fan since 1995, when the team filled the hockey shaped vacuum in my heart.
